this article does a good job of explaining areas where zoos could improve and also pushes their own personal beliefs on what they think the zoos should do. Although I disagree with the author on some points, I see validity in many other points brought up. However, it's not black and white like the author believes it should be, it is grey in many aspects and there's no cut-and-dry answer to each of the article's topics. It does do a good job of showing me the areas that I want to improve my sanctuary in.
*** my interpretation of the article is that the author thinks about this in black and white, straight-cut terms, that is my opinion after reading the article; the author did not state that.
